I just got a new 6.75 HP B&S engine to replace my approximately 20 year old 4.0 HP Tecumseh engine. At first glance, it appeared that my old belt was in perfect condition, but when I inspected it closely, I discovered that it had 3 breaks on the inside about halfway through the belt, and they were all within a 2" long section. The rest of the belt was in perfect condition. So I decided that I had better add a new belt while installing the new engine. The only thing I had to do was adjust the belt tension to make it a little tighter. It now works great!!!

After unsuccessfully trying to get a local auto parts store to match the original, I ordered the OEM belt from Power Tow and it fit perfectly
