Return and Restocking Policy

We build PowerTow tugs to fit your airplane and last for years. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can ask to return it within 30 days of delivery. Here is exactly how that works, so there are no surprises.

Before you ship anything back, call us. If something is not working right, a quick conversation often fixes it faster than a return. If it turns out the tug is not the right fit, we will tell you plainly what your options are.

You may request a return within thirty (30) days of delivery, under the terms below.
Step one: Get a return authorization
Every return must be authorized by Northwest Mfg., Inc. before you send it. Products returned without authorization will be refused and sent back to you. Once we approve your return, we will give you the return instructions, including shipping details.
Condition of the product
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be new or like new
- It must come back in the original packaging
- It must show no damage beyond normal inspection or brief testing
Products with damage, excessive wear, improper handling, or modification may be charged additional fees or may not qualify for a return.
Restocking fees
Approved returns carry a restocking fee based on the original purchase price. The fee is deducted from your refund.
- Aircraft tugs: 20% restocking fee
- Parts and accessories: 10% restocking fee
Shipping costs
Shipping is the customer's responsibility. That covers the original outbound shipping, return shipping, and any additional freight, rerouting, or accessorial charges. Shipping charges are not refundable, even when the product is returned. Freight quotes given at the time of purchase are estimates and are subject to final carrier rates. Your refund
We issue refunds after we receive and inspect the returned product. The refund is the original purchase price minus:
- Applicable restocking fees
- Shipping charges
- Any repair or reconditioning costs needed to bring the product back to sellable condition
What cannot be returned
- Products damaged by misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Products modified or repaired without our written authorization
- Special order or custom built items, unless we approve the return in writing
- International orders
Returns and warranty are different
A return under this policy is separate from warranty coverage and does not replace it. If something is defective in materials or workmanship, that is handled under our Warranty. Labor, freight, and travel costs are not covered by the warranty.

Northwest Mfg., Inc. determines the condition of a returned product, whether it qualifies for return, and the fees that apply. We will explain our decision and the numbers behind it.
