Shipping Policy
Effective date: October 2026
A tug is heavy and it has a long way to travel to get to your hangar. We pay attention to the details so it arrives in the shape we built it. This page explains how shipping works, what you are responsible for, and what to do the moment your order shows up.
Who pays for shipping
Shipping and freight costs are the customer's responsibility, unless we say otherwise in writing on an official invoice or quotation. That includes:
- Outbound freight on your order
- Return shipping
- Shipping related to a warranty claim
- Rerouting or redelivery fees
- Storage or detention charges
Freight quotes
Freight charges for aircraft tugs and other large items are quoted separately. A quote is an estimate based on carrier rates at the time we give it to you. Freight quotes apply to both dual wheel and single wheel tugs when the order ships by freight.
Actual freight costs can change because of carrier adjustments, accessorial fees, delivery conditions, or other things outside our control. You are responsible for all freight charges, even when we gave you an estimate ahead of time. We are not responsible for carrier rate changes, delays, reclassification, or additional freight charges after the shipment leaves.
Carriers and delivery times
Once your order leaves our facility, it is in the custody of the freight carrier. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, acts of God, labor disputes, or other circumstances beyond our control. If something looks off with your delivery, call us and we will help you track it down.
When your order arrives: inspect it
You are responsible for inspecting your shipment at delivery. This step protects you, so please do not skip it.
- Look over the crate, packaging, and equipment before you sign.
- Write any visible damage on the carrier's Bill of Lading at the time of delivery. Take photos too.
- If you find damage that was hidden under the packaging, report it to us within 48 hours of delivery.
If damage is not noted on the Bill of Lading, the carrier may deny the freight claim. Call us right away if anything looks wrong. We will walk you through the next step.
Refused or undeliverable shipments
If a shipment is refused, cannot be delivered, or is delayed because of something on the customer's side, the customer pays the additional costs. That includes an incorrect address, nobody available to receive it, or no unloading equipment on site. Please make sure the delivery address is complete and that someone can receive and unload the shipment.
Questions about shipping
Call us before you order if you are not sure about delivery to your location. We would rather answer a question up front than solve a problem later.
